Collective Worship Policy

It is a time when we come together to share our love of God and celebrate our achievements and think how we can be the best we can be. The worship of the school is based on promoting Christian values which permeate the ethos of school. As such the contributions of staff, pupils, church clergy and other visitors are highly valued. Through worship we seek to encourage the attitudes of awe and wonder. These values are embodied in the New Commandment that Jesus gave us:

John 13:34-35 “….love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another, then everyone will know that you are my disciples”.

We also actively seek to encourage the attitudes of awe, wonder and reflection.

WORLD THINKING DAY- FRIDAY 22ND FEBRUARY Some of our children wore their uniforms with pride in school today to celebrate World Thinking Day on the 22nd Feburary during the half term holiday. The day focuses on International Friendship and encourages the children to think about guiding and scouting all over the world.
