At St. John's CE we are clear about the difference between a concern and a complaint and we take concerns seriously at the earliest stage so that we are able to reduce the numbers that develop into formal complaints.
If you have a concern please do speak with your child's class teacher in the first instance as we need to maintain our positive relationships with all our St. John's families. If you are still not happy or do not feel your concern has been addressed then please share your concern with the headteacher who may need to carry out investigations before providing explanations or solutions to rectify any concerns. If you feel the concern has not been addressed appropriately then a formal complaint should be written to the Chair of Governors. Please look at the Complaints Procedure below which will guide you through the process. The policy gives guidelines in more detail.
