"I feel privileged to have this opportunity as a parent governor for St. John’s Thornham.
The school is a hive of activity and you are immediately welcomed by smiling, enthusiastic and kind-hearted children.
I have previously been a primary school teaching assistant for 10 years where I thoroughly enjoyed gaining and growing my knowledge in areas of Literacy, Art, SEN and Behaviour management in order to support the children on their individual journeys through primary school and beyond.
My two children attend the school, their education so far has been exciting and nurturing and I am proud of the staff, governors and pupils for creating a learning environment that my children love being a part of.
As a member of the Monitoring, Design and Technology and Art committees I hope that I can reiterate my own expertise and passion in these areas to help support the children’s growing love for learning at St. Johns Thornham.
I am passionate about helping to maintain and continue the lovingly warm and caring atmosphere that can be felt instantly throughout the school at St. Johns Thornham.
I am increasingly proud to be a part of the schools inspiring journey."
