Equality and Community Cohesion Policy

At St. John's we take our duties towards equality extremely seriously. Each year we will publish on our website the key objectives we will focus on to be able to demonstrate  how we have “due regard” to the requirements of the school’s general equality duty i.e. how, when making decisions and developing policies, we have due regard to the need to:

  • Eliminate unlawful discrimination, harassment and victimisation and any other conduct prohibited by the Act
  • Advance equality of opportunity between people who share a protected characteristic and those who do not share it
  • Foster good relations across all characteristics.
