"I am very proud to be Parent Governor at St John’s Thornham, a fantastic school with wonderful school values. Both my children attend the school, and I am committed to supporting the school to help the children to get the best education possible. I am the Maths and IT link governor for St John’s.
In my day job I work for the NHS with families and individuals from some of the most deprived areas in Oldham, supporting them with both health and social care problems. My work requires be to be open, honest, supportive and work alongside a variety of different agencies, these are all skills which help me in my role as parent governor. In my role as governor, I intend to do the best I can for the future of our children and the school. "
