WC 15th June 2026

This week Discoverers played Go Find It looking for items in the Forest School area matching the descriptions of things like tiny, big, spikey and stripy. They were very creative in what they found. Inventors and Explorers played a new game to them called Mammoth, Hunter, Mouse which is like rock paper scissors mixed with tag.

A bit of a mixed week for the weather again. Discoverers were finding textures and patterns in nature using plasticine to make impressions and stamp them on paper. It was very wet on Thursday and so Explorers and Inventors learned about the water cycle and made their own story which everyone contributed to about a water drop and its adventures which started in a cloud. Adventurers were learning whittling skills.

WC 1st June 2026

Forest School was very wet for Discoverers this week so they learned about native animals and created a fact file booklet researching information about their favourite one. Inventors and Explorers read the book "Fairy Tale Secrets" and went to find out what other secrets were lurking in the Forest School area. Pioneers and Adventurers got creative this week using things from our resource box.
