The Nook- reading and role play area
Look at our wonderful new Book Nook which has been built in Explorers classroom by Cool Canvas who revamped the EYFS outside area. We commissioned them to create the book nook to support children’s physical development- climbing and balancing on the stairs and logs, as well as creating a calm space high up to allow children to retreat with a book and a space underneath that could be transformed each half term into a different role play area. The children love exploring the new area which is a fabulous natural addition to the classroom- the views when you are on the top level across the field are truly amazing!
