Emotional Well-Being

At St. John’s CE Primary School, we take the emotional health and well-being of our pupils and staff very seriously. Our ethos is a caring one, which develops respect, self- esteem and gives a voice for all. Our school is committed to providing a caring and supportive environment for all pupils and staff and we recognise the importance of staff and pupil welfare and well-being. We promote a supportive and inclusive ethos, which values parental/carer involvement and contribution. This policy outlines the ways in which we, as a school care for and nurture the emotional well-being of our pupils and staff.

This week the children have been involved in transition. Year 6 have vivited their new schools, our children have spent the afternoon with their new teachers in their new classes and our new reception children came for their 'Stay and Play' session taking home with them their very own SJT bear to spend the summer with them. What an exciting week!
