St John's Evangelist Church

St John’s is a family-friendly church located over the field from school. It is an Anglican Church that it is alive in faith and actions. The church attracts a mix of age groups with people from the local and neighbouring communities. There is a range of Sunday School groups which meet each week and family worship once a month sees the uniformed groups parade with their flags. School leads a Sunday morning church service twice a year and at the end of each term we walk down to church to have our own family worship celebrating the Christian festivals. We also plan events with church such as the Christingle service and this year saw us recreating the Christmas story with church members, parents and children walking down to church led by a donkey!

The clergy team are well known to our children who attend church but also to those who don't as they regulary visit school to lead worship or take part in Ethos activities or RE projects.
