WC 20th April 2026
In this weeks Forest School sessions Creators children were replanting sunflowers that had been growing over the break and were drawing round themselves on the playground using chalk . Pioneers and Adventurers were learning how to tie some basic knots such as the clove hitch and the figure of eight. Inventors took responsibility for our Explorers children and showed them some different ways to build mini habitats.
WC 27th April 2026
This week Creators and Discoverers looked at the book “Not a stick” and tried to imagine what their stick could be. Inventors helped Explorers with a bug hunt, while Pioneers and Adventurers looked at some more useful knots.
WC 18th May 2026
In this weeks Forest School sessions we had our very own Forest School sports day. We had pine cone shot put, puddle jumping and welly throwing. The children got very competitive in their teams seeing who could throw the wellies the furthest.
