BASC No-Dig Gardening

Still image for this video
This year BASC are going to try growing our own vegetables. We found a neglected corner and worked together to clear it ready to turn into a No-Dig garden area. We started by emptying old pots of dead plants and pulling up the weeds. Then we put cardboard down to stop more weeds coming up. Next we put fresh compost on top of the old soil and cardboard. We have planted some onions already.
Open day sessions for our new Reception intake for September 2022 will be held at school on Thursday 4th November, please phone the school office to book to attend at either 10am or 2pm. We look forward to meeting you.
