Craft Club

Welcome to craft club!

Craft club is a lunchtime club where children become designers and artists! We will explore a range of art and craft skills including painting, collaging and textiles. We will make some fabulous themed crafts for autumn and Christmas. Why not come along and join the fun?

We have focused on water colour skills in craft club recently. We first practiced and experimented with how to use the water colour paints properly by painting some pictures using them. Then we began our autumn themed craft. We use the water colours to paint the trunk and branches of a tree. Then we used tissue paper to make the orange, red and brown leaves that are on the autumn leaves. 

We used our weaving skills to make some Christmas wreath decorations to hang on a Christmas tree. We wove the wool around a piece of cardboard and the decorated them with gems. We then all worked together to use our weaving skills to make a school Christmas tree decoration that was hung on the Christmas tree in the centre of Rochdale!

The children are enjoying the different clubs on offer before and after school, have a look and sign your child up on Parent Pay. The children can also access clubs at lunchtimes so have look to see what they would enjoy and encourage them to attend!
